Tragic bike collision in JHK's Khunti, two youths killed

In a devastating incident late on Saturday night, two young men lost their lives after their bike collided with an unidentified vehicle near Ridum Chowk. The victims have been identified as Ashish Bhengra (20) from Okda Amba Toli and Vinay Bhengra (20) from Sundari Soso Toli.

According to witnesses, an unknown vehicle struck the bike head-on, resulting in a severe collision that sent the bike airborne. Tragically, both young men succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Their lifeless bodies were transported to Torpa Referral Hospital.

Post-mortem examinations are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, after which the remains will be handed over to the grieving families. It is noteworthy that Ashish and Vinay were former students of St. Joseph's College in Torpa and were currently pursuing their first year of graduation at Birsa College.

Local authorities are launching an investigation into the incident to identify the unknown vehicle and determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
